Record of the Gathering

The Levantine Assassins Brotherhood will be undergoing various changes and adaptations intended to strengthen the Brotherhood and move it forward in a direction suitable for those within it and those who share its ideals.

This Synchronisation does not represent the conclusion of that process. Further gatherings and addresses are expected as the Brotherhood continues to develop.

The event was hosted by Assassin ValarFrost, who spoke about the duties of being an Assassin and the direction in which the Brotherhood was moving.

Two statements from his address were preserved:

“We carry the torch of those before us.”

“It is simply up to us to choose its direction.”

Assassin ValarFrost’s complete speech was not documented. Following his remarks, Arch Assassin ADVENTlST addressed the assembled Brotherhood.

Arch Assassin ADVENTlST’s Address

“If I must say anything at all in order to bring us together and put our minds in tune and at ease, I must say this:

We are the beacons of light and peace. This is our promise unto the world. It is through us—the vessels and harbingers of light—that the individuality of all men and women is protected.

The sins of this world and its earthly powers will always seek to control, oppress and wreak havoc. Mankind can be manipulative and hurtful, and it is our moral promise to the world to defend others from those natural sins.

We cannot live another day knowing that we have spent it sitting idly by while these injustices continue. Nor can we live our lives knowing that we served no greater purpose at all.

It is for this reason that we act today, and in every breathing moment: to serve peace and justice before accepting the comforts of idleness.

Fear not what you have to lose. Look only towards what you have to gain.

In all sacrifice, there is gain, and in all pain, there is growth.

Remember your purpose and why we serve it.”

A New Era

As previously stated, the Levantine Assassins Brotherhood will be undergoing changes intended to better itself and encourage greater individuality and diversity among its members.

As the Arch Assassin declared:

“We cannot live another day knowing that we have spent it sitting idly by while these injustices continue.”

It is time for the Brotherhood, as a collective body, to move forward. It must encourage individualism, welcome diversity and prepare itself for change throughout all areas of its organisation.

This marks the beginning of a new era for the Brotherhood.
