The keeping of records
The Scholars Archive preserves the names, records and manuscripts entrusted to it so that the library may remain ordered, searchable and true.
What the archive keeps
The archive keeps member names, recognised standing within the library, manuscripts, revisions, notices and other materials deliberately entered or preserved by authorised archivists.
What the archive does not display
The shelves are arranged for learning and stewardship, not public exposure. Only the records opened to a visitor's standing are revealed, while sealed material remains withheld from common view.
Stewardship
Senior archivists are expected to keep the archive orderly, safeguard restricted works and ensure the record remains faithful to what has been written, amended and approved.
