As Asmodeus encroached on Liliana, the horrific sight of Hanging Samarians, brutalized Reprobates littered the fields, and he charged in with the fury of the wind, cutting down every Teuton in his path until he reached the encampment where the Samarians had travelled to.
“You filthy infidels walked directly into our ambush to talk PEACE? WITH TEUTONS? Damn yall are dumber than you look.”
“We just wanted the bloodshed to end… not create more…”
“Well that's too damn bad, you’re as go-”
A long crude blade was driven through him, ripping through chain and cloth, shearing him in half, following him, a trail of dead Teutons.
“Stand up, you are not weak, you are strong, prove it to me here and now and save your Brotherhood."
“What about the others, are they safe? We should have never come here…”
“Fret not, as I have much to teach you all when we return to Masyaf, but we must get there first.”
He lifts the Samarian off the ground, charging through Teutons, leaving none left to tell the tale of the man who moves with the wind. Once returned to Masyaf, Asmodeus spilled the knowledge of Scamper to the Brotherhood, and the stories of his travels to much positive reciprocation.
“I did not come here to seek forgiveness or acceptance, but to open all of your eyes to the barbarity of the Teutons, take what I have told you and pass it down through the coming generations of Samarians.”
“We never wished to turn you away, we thought you were foolish, abrasive. But we now see what you mean, thank you, Asmodeus.”
Asmodeus would walk off into the distance, not to be seen again for centuries, when he was spotted briefly recently, once again moving with great speed and lethal precision.
